September 2019 on Monday 16 Turning Point Christian Center received a check in the amount of $3,250.00 from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal through its Vicariate Outreach Program.
The funding will help Turning Point continue in its mission of RESTORING BROKEN LIVES. Turning Point is a 24-hour residential program that offers help to men of all ages, who struggle with life controlling problems such as substance abuse, anxiety, or depression. Our program has served the tri-state area for over 17 years.
This funding that we received will continue to help us reach out our services to the greater Tri-State area. In providing Food, Shelter and Counseling to those who are in need of our services.
As the President and Executive Director of Turning Point Christian Center, it gives me GREAT encouragement to know that Organizations like the Vicariate Outreach Program are willing to partner with us in the Fight against Addiction.
Since 1981, the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal has been able to assist tens of thousands of people–regardless of race, religion, or color–across the Archdiocese of Hartford with healthcare, education, housing, emergency expenses. and in numerous other areas. It is through the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal Vicariate Outreach Program and the generosity of its donors that the Appeal is able to assist a wide array of community-based charities throughout the Hartford, New Haven and Litchfield Counties.
