We believe that positive community involvement reduces the risk of drug-related crime. It also improves an individual’s personal sense of value as they see themselves making a meaningful contribution to their world.
Turning Point partners with other non-profit organizations and local businesses to create a series of opportunities for positive community involvement. One example of this is our annual “Beat the Heat” summer tour. These summer rallies engage kids and teens with a positive message about overcoming life’s struggles without drugs and alcohol. These events also raise awareness about the services of Turning Point for those who need it.
